Fun: 5. 0 out of 5 stars I'm not much of a video game reviewer, and I am certainly not a player "serious," but I like to blow one or two hours when playing any game. So taken a GameFly had never played a game before Soul Calibur. I like fighting games that are involved characters fast. Hubby and I liked this game enough to pay the extra loot to "keep the game", so we are now proud owners of Soul Calibur IV.
What I liked:
1) I hit 40 buttons in a row to get the character to do something cool, in fact inside button masher I was pretty happy with the movements have been able to do it immediately breaks the form.
2) The graphics are good, the atmosphere is cool to watch and you can break your environment, which is always fun. The playable characters are available in a wide range and all seem pretty good (some women are ridiculous proportions, but whatever). They have a variety of weapons that are very funny and everyone look great.
3) The characters level, that the more you play with one, the more options you have with them.
4) The link is an interesting choice, but for some reason the game does not seem up to snuff, I mean that the computer will be at a level 1 with a level of 41? Seems to be a bit 'more balanced, as to who is authorized by whom.
5) The tower is a blast, and it is difficult! Basically you have to fight various groups of evil at every level of the tower to climb to the next. . . We are at 20 or so and is now walk in the park! The good thing is that each level has a way to unlock another article of clothing to use in creating your character.
6) the creation of characters that can be quite funny, and very bad in it. My husband can spend more than an hour tweeking the man. . . I slap some clothes and go.
7) The other options are standard Arcade mode and story mode, which allow you to unlock various playable characters.
What I do not care for:
1) When is the tar beaten by someone or put the Smack Down on you, the armor can be broken. . . effectively leaving your character almost completely in the nude. Now I'm not sure that anyone who gets their jollies by semi-nude video game people, but I'm not one of them.
2) It would be nice if the female characters were trapsing on their boobs hanging strips of wear. . . and closeups of tits and boots gets to be pretty boring. . . I wonder why men are not more women gaming. . . That is one reason.
3) The ad showed Darth Vader against Yoda. . . um. . . can only Vader in the PS3 version, Yoda is obviously for the Xbox version. It would be nice to have both.
4) The loading times in a match race to be a bit 'tiring, especially in the tower, where just Derrier is delivered to you and re-fight the same type for the 15th time and there you are; Waiting for 2 minutes or more to recharge the battle.
5) The character creation should be able to choose the best underwear for my people, where all their clothes to be separated so as not to be there in a bra and thong.
Still, I like the game is an absolute blast and well worth a purchase (mostly used)

Fun: 5. 0 of 5 stars if the game mechanics right to vote is fundamental to its success, it is best not to tinker too much with the way the controls and believes in total. The most recent SC suffers from this as it feels like the same old game, but that is its strength. There's something new for the enjoyment people get out of this game high because, in addition to the new SW characters are always mesh together for optimal experience. Eventually new criticism comes into play so small as to not exist. Many in what looks like a shallow surface, however. Character creation is fun only when the master unlock cool equipment and weapons. Ideally, the game you want to take everyone through the story mode 5 capital supply, but the data hardcore restart the mission mode (my favorite part of the old game (s) are remade into a little tower 'less fufilling function (this is the missing text and history, map making fun missions more original.) mode of survival is remade as a dungeon crawl back in the tower. The unlockables come easier, but it considers appropriate as it is more difficult, and SC. These changes, like the ability to adapt the skills and equipment that make sciv very freely. I know that my thumb still burn especially after taking heavy Darth Vader through arcade mode that I took longer than I care to admit . Darth V. is difficult to control, because the legs are mechanical forces of its powers and fly to a more harsh, but the practice can be helpful. The text on the history of each character is good, and incredibly deep list of moves for each fighter is accessible from the pause menu, as always. sciv unfortunately it is difficult at the right time, and engaging in all the right places with plenty of strategy and customization, and fulfilling the list of fighters will have this unit running hot in the my PS3 for a while '. BTW to install one doesn t Hard Drive' beard loading so long as I had hoped, but I like having the option.

Fun: 5. 0 out of 5 stars I am a big fan of the series Soul. I remember sinking into the fourth gallery more than a decade. If Soul Calibur came out first home console, it was like a dream come true. Many hours were spent in this game instead of working on documents in a college. Soul Calibur 3 was definitely my favorite. I also had the opportunity to work on artwork for the card game based on the SC3 UFS. I think a huge contribution to my love of Soul Calibur, and SC3 in particular, is what has led to some of my frustration with Soul Calibur 4. . .
Well:
– The graphics are incredible! The animation is smooth and the characters move with great fluidity. The faces look much better with each iteration, SC4 certainly become dramatically in character models.
– Play online now! I did not experience a period of time. It 'fun to practice for the CPU, but much more fun to take perfect strangers. Even if you lose, you get to see how others play and begin to improve so that when your friends come, you can embarrass summarily.
– Better character-mode EVER created. SC4 Certainly not reward you with non-stop nature of the species creating the SC3 way he did, but the depth of the new system is something that has the experience to appreciate. I like the amount of the adjustment are allowed, even if I miss the DC-fighting style unique.
– Tower of Lost Souls. We call it that because it will sink hours of your life.
– A cool tag-team dynamic that allows you to change the characters in the middle of the race. Definitely useful when you need a variety of styles.
– The colors are cool critical, when conditions are right and you can pull out. I would rather be defeated with one of them a ring every day.
Evil
– Yoda is cheap. You can not roll again. In fact, the characters of Star Wars seems far away, but this is not the first time SC has crossover. What bugged me most is that not the creation of the figures point to characters Jedi. How totally unfair to add the license, but does not allow holders personalized lightsaber.
– Fight against any team. I can not understand why remove it, maybe Namco think if you want to play against another human being, do it directly in the standard / special function vs;
– The story seems too thin, and the end of the characters is rather weak compared to SC3. There is no interactivity in movies or endings and some of the hidden characters that are not even animated endings.
– There are girls SC3 shop!
– Chronicles of the Sword is gone. It 'was one of my favorites in a Soul Calibur 3. Contribute to a general feeling that I have a lack of history in this game.
I love most of the additions to the game, including game modes and some new characters. I can not understand why Namco has decided to remove some of the tools of the previous game though. We really need to release more downloadable content. In itself, this is a great game. Has a great graphics, a balanced system of combat and not enough evidence to keep you busy for a while '. The creation of the character is something that all fighting games should learn. But in the end, compared to previous games in the series, you get a feeling that this game seems a bit 'rushed to the apartment stuff. I hope this is not really should be the last Soul Calibur series, it was not really bind many of the stories of the characters, in my opinion.
