Entertainment: 3. 0 out of 5 stars This is a title mediocre and disappointing. I am a co-op with Baulder Gate and Champions of Norrath series. . . this game is that hack-n-slash, and half to half-RPG adventure game, but leaves much to be desired for a "next-game gen.
The game feels like it was originally designed for PS2 at some point in production was needed as a PS3 launch title. At least, it feels as if in a hurry to open both ways. The graphics are not bad, but in many places shiny. . . . some elements seem to belong to the PS2, which is not good. But we could live with that, if the gameplay is close to or Baulder Champions level. Is not. Is responsible as a hack n slash ', but something is missing. Again, this is not a bad game, just mediocre.
With the co-op play, the game also has problems of camera. Historical figures such as trees get in the way of seeing what happens and sometimes the camera does not follow well and can be obtained from the wrong direction acttion important. You feel like the whole game was designed for a 1-player mode, where the problems are largely cease to exist, as the game is behind your character and block it. This is a problem as many who buy games like this do to have a great multiplayer experience with friends.
I am upset that I bought this game, just like I waited a bit 'and bought used. If you are the Baulder / Champion as a fan or hack n slash role-playing games', to give this game a try after using the price falls below $ 30 range. But do not get your hopes too high.

Entertainment: 4. 0 out of 5 stars The PSP was launched in March 2005, with some games that really took advantage of the hardware or unique features. One of the few who did were Sony Online Entertainment for Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade. It was a game that had potential and that the potential is transferred to another entry of Sony, the PlayStation 3. As the SOE's Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom to do in next-gen, not the mobile environment? Put simply, alone. Very correct.
Dark Kingdom The suffix refers to the position of Dureth history, a country victim of black magic, a king crazy, and legions of soldiers attacking unarmed, innocent civilians. Fortunately for Dureth a talented group of soldiers known as the Dragon Shade is there to save the day. From here a choice of three different fighters Nuance Dragon: the animal, as a warrior, scout the rapid, or the mystical sorcerer. This begins a 20-hour adventure, like one of those characters to find out what the darkness into light the folly of the king.
Untold Legends feels a bit 'like any other 3D dungeon-crawling hack-and-slash. For the most part consists of crushing combat different combinations of keys X and square to direct attacks or radicals that destroy completely a bunch of enemies. E 'repetitive, but that is to be expected from the type and design. It 'hard to get tired of destroying a legion of skeleton swordsmen, is absolutely true. In fact, only when the control is taken away from the player and the game starts to become annoying. Between hacking and cutting creatures, the player will often run and jump platform puzzles, and some have a head turning for a moment, before they revealed that the progress of stay. These puzzles do much to make the game a bit 'more than a hack-and-slash, but inside, that everything is real anyway.
Leveling up is always fun to role play (or should be) and Untold Legends is no different. Defeating enemies earns experience points that allow the player character will level up. When leveled up, the statistical nature can be increased (health, mana, melee damage, defense, etc.) and new magic attacks can be learned or reinforced. It 'very generous Untold Legends, which allows the player to force one of the nine magical ability at all levels up, at 45 you will have all skills maxed. Again, it is very fun to flesh out their characters. The game lets you customize many aspects, for example, may focus on the development of melee damage and health points to make an indestructible warrior or stress ranged magic attacks and mana for wizards.
During the game, the player can absorb also mainly from dead enemies and destroyed objects (similar to Devil May Cry). Yellow spirits act as currency and allow the player to purchase a new component of improvements and essences of red (health status) or blue spirits (restores mana). Blue and red spheres are the enemies dead. The only problem with the point system is that the purpose of the yellow balls defeated when you must buy expensive red and blue except for those checkpoints, where health or mana drops too low.
Has not yet said, but plays much like Untold Legends Xbox blockbuster Peter Molyneux of Fable. Someone could take that two ways. The first is as a compliment, because Untold Legends game as one of the best Xbox games ever created, and this reviewer personal favorite hack-and-slash game. The second is like a big attack, because the next generation of games is that compared to the last generation-one. The battle system, in essence, the collection, the level-up system and general gameplay are all very similar.
Unfortunately, the images are not much better. Untold Legends has different environments, a lot of particle effects and an interesting art design, but the animation is impressive. The Havok engine is used here, but only sparingly. The camera is the ruin of the whole game, very often caught in the trees, boxes, or anything protruding from a wall. This translates into wild spinning and the player takes time to understand what direction to continue fighting. At least the music is pretty damn good and fit for the environment and the story quite well. It 'just a shame that the sound effects do not compliment a big customer of the sound, because it is very boring and weak.
Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom is a fun game. And 'quite fun to play alone for 20 hours, or online with three other friends (who are still free, and you can use the experience gained in this game for a player). Hacking and cutting may be blind, but I do not feel too old or boring of the Dark Kingdom. However, some problems such as Ho-hum performance and a bad camera to avoid having a really great game. Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom is worthy of purchase for PlayStation 3 owners looking for something to keep them occupied until further evidence comes out next year, but that's all.

Entertainment: 4. 0 out of 5 stars I played Untold Legends, before, and they are all generally hack 'n slash, so this was expected. Even the graphics were very good and funny story (played as a female). I also liked how the sword and armor look different depending on what is mounted and what type. There were some frustrating moments when the character is stuck on the side of the wall or boulder while fighting, but these were all temporary malfunctions. I bought this game used for a fraction of the price after reading all the negative reviews, but overall I found a great game and a decent first test / release for PS3.
